I do 20% weekly, but my tap's harder than yours. With RO, you might stretch it to 10 days if params stay chill. Just test often at first.

6 dGH ain't bad, but yeah, they do better softer. I'd mix in some RO if you can. Mine are in 4 dGH and breed like crazy. Just watch the pH swings if you go that route.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. I'll test alk and calcium today. Tank's about 6 months old, by the way. Flow's from a MP10 at 70%. Maybe I'll bump it up.

why are my corals not growing?
My corals aren't growing, and I'm not sure why. I've got a 40-gallon tank with a Radion XR15 light, running 8 hours a day. Water params are good, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5 nitrate, 8.2 pH, 1.025 salinity. I feed them Reef Roids twice a week. Tankmates are two clownfish and a cleaner shrimp. Substrate ...
