I use Seachem Prime for my tap water. Works like a charm, and my betta's chill after changes. Also, keep the lights off for an hour post-change.

I've got a bit of a situation on my hands with my tank, which is only about 2 1/2 weeks old. Everything was going great - the fish are happy, and I've got a good vibe going with my 2 damsels and 2 chromies.

It's actually doing alright, surprisingly. Not puffy like I'm used to with fungias, but looks healthy. Will try to grab another pic later today to share.

Fungia survival chances after damage
Just got my new fungia from Divers Den and I'm a bit concerned. It's been 5 years since I last had one, so I'm not sure if this is normal. The skeleton's pretty exposed, which makes me think it might be stressed from shipping. Does anyone know if they usually close up this much during transport?

idk but without breaking it into a million pieces i'd try to slide something really thin under it, maybe a razor blade or a thin knife. looks like it's gonna be tough.
