I've used both Red Sea and Instant Ocean, and they're both fine. The bigger thing is consistency. Stick with one brand and mix it the same way every time. Sudden changes in salt mix can stress your corals.

For a 10-gallon nano, you'll want to focus on low-light corals like Zoanthids or Mushrooms. A simple LED light like the AI Prime should work, and a small wavemaker like the Nero 3 can provide enough flow. Just keep your water params stable, especially salinity and temp.

He's in a 1.5 gallon tank. We used water conditioner when adding water, but I'm not sure about the parameters - we didn't test them.

Is my betta injured?
I just brought home a new Betta and I'm a bit concerned about his fins - they look a little beat up. Not super experienced with bettas, so I'm not sure if that's normal or not.
