My guppies have always left the adult cherry shrimp alone, but I'm not too sure about the little ones, to be honest. If you're looking to keep them safe, java moss would definitely be a good idea - lots of hiding spots for the shrimp.

I'd advise against keeping two feeder goldfish in a 20-gallon tank, they can grow much larger than people often expect.
