Re: enhance your aquarium with these creative tank decoration ideas

I'm curious about the tank size, how big is it? One 10-pound bag was more than enough for my 5.5-gallon tank, I actually had some leftover.

Re: enhance your aquarium with these creative tank decoration ideas

You can get rocks at local pet stores or aquarium shops, they usually have a variety of them. For plants, I've been using BucePlant.com - they have a great selection and their prices are really reasonable.

Re: enhance your aquarium with these creative tank decoration ideas

I completely agree with going for a more natural look, rollwave. I've found that adding live plants, rocks, and driftwood really makes the tank feel more authentic. You can usually find fish-safe options at local pet stores, they'll have a variety of live plants too. Some easy-to-care-for plants I ...

Re: Can guppies coexist with cherry shrimp?

My guppies have always left the adult cherry shrimp alone, but I'm not too sure about the little ones, to be honest. If you're looking to keep them safe, java moss would definitely be a good idea - lots of hiding spots for the shrimp.

Re: Choosing the right tankmates for dwarf gouramis

I'd advise against keeping two feeder goldfish in a 20-gallon tank, they can grow much larger than people often expect. If you're determined to keep them in the smaller tank, one might be manageable, but keep in mind they're social fish and prefer to have companions. As for the gouramis, I don't ...

Re: Creative ideas for a 5-gallon space

Considering my previous thoughts on restocking the 5-gallon, I've come up with some ideas. Building on TankWarrior's suggestion, a few male guppies could work well. I'd also consider adding a single female or Plakat Betta fish, as they're generally less aggressive. For a schooling fish, I think 7 ...

back from my long break

Hey everyone, it's been ages since I last logged in, I'm a bit rusty on where everything is. Not sure if anyone recalls me, but I was pretty active here a few months back. I'd been dealing with some personal stuff - mental health issues, depression being one of them - and decided a break was needed ...

Re: feeding your betta

I've been super busy lately, so I've only been feeding my Betta once a day with pellets - usually it's twice a day, but a couple of days a week I'm only managing once. Is this going to be alright for my fish?

how many pellets are you giving at each feeding, btw

I usually manage to fit in a ...
