Don't forget to save some of your filter media to kickstart the cycle in the new tank. And maybe do a water change a day before to ensure clean water for the trip.

Unfortunately, the picture isn't very clear - all I can make out are some blurry white blobs. I'd recommend looking up some images of scuds to see if they match what you've got. Since scuds have a pretty distinctive appearance, comparing them to some pictures should give you a good idea. They're ...
