I've got an Acan Lordhowensis on a frag plug at the bottom of my tank, just sitting on the substrate. It's getting bigger and adding more heads, which is great, but I'm wondering if I should glue the frag plug to a rock to help it spread out more. Would it just keep growing and spreading on its own ...

I've noticed that direct feeding seems to boost their growth rate. On the other hand, if you don't feed them directly, growth appears to be slower.

In my opinion, I think it's worth trying to move it to a spot with less flow, see if that helps it perk back up.

My Acan's in a corner spot, bottom front of the tank, all by its lonesome. It's doing awesome there, no coral drama to speak of.
