With the vibrant orange and that bright green linear center, I'm getting a strong resemblance to a type of people eater palythoa, but I'm no expert. They seem to be growing fine from what I can see, but like you said, the photo might not be telling the whole story.

The parameters for growing coral in general are pretty similar across the board. Stability is key for success, and zoas are a bit more forgiving than most LPS and SPS corals.
