Re: company stock listings
I've been noticing more bristle worms lately and I'm looking for something to help control them. I know the flasher wrasse may not completely get rid of them, but it's still a really cool fish. Would I be able to do option 1 with the flasher wrasse instead of the six line wrasse, or would I be ...

Re: Chalice coral care and questions
To adjust your alkalinity, you can use just the alk component of your two-part system to bring it up slightly, then revert to your regular calcium and alkalinity regimen to maintain stability.
Regular water changes, ideally once or twice a month, should help keep magnesium levels in check, but it ...

Re: Chalice coral care and questions
General chalic question
I'd look into bumping up the alk to around 8-9, see if that helps. Also, have you checked the Mg levels?
I've got a couple chalice frags, similar size, went in at the same time. One I was able to mount really flush to the live rock, and it's been growing out nicely. The ...

Re: What does a healthy candy cane coral look like?
I agree with BankoLite on the poofiness, my own experience with trumpet corals is that they can look quite similar to yours when they're not in ideal conditions. I have two setups, one is pretty exposed like yours, and the other is tucked away in a shaded crevice - the latter has really taken off ...
