Re: my nigerian red kribensis cichlid pair
Got plenty of hiding spots like coconut caves, they seem to love 'em. Mine made homes in all the coconut caves, started moving the substrate about, then 2 days later eggs were laid. Fingers crossed for you, good luck.

Re: my nigerian red kribensis cichlid pair
Nice one m8, lovely fish you've got there. I've got a soft spot for Pelvicachromis taeniatus klugei myself, they're great little fish. I was lucky enough to get a spawn out of mine after just a few days of having them. How about yours, haven_9, have your Nigerkento4 Red Kribensis pair spawned yet?

Re: information conflicts about kribs
I've got some Pelvicachromis Taeniatus, they're from the same family as Kribs, and I've had no issues with them. I also have Corys in the same tank and they're fine, although they do love to snack on the fry - Ppffffttttt. I've also got copper harlequins and rummy nose tetras, as well as a couple of ...

Re: need assistance
I've got a 27 gallon tank, filter does 10x turnover. I've got a pretty sweet mix of fish - 1 fire mouth, 1 red zebra, 2 female jewel chilcid, and 1 opaline gorami. Everything's good except for the fire mouth... Gorami's the boss, no one messes with him. Zebra's second in command, he chases the ...

You've got a right old cocktail brewing in that tank... it's a ticking time bomb, if you ask me.

Re: need assistance
When you say red zebra, I'm assuming you're referring to a Metriaclima estherae. That's a Mbuna malawi cichlid, right?
