Re: Light adaptation period for lps corals

Re: Marine tank setup and cycling process
Hiya, I think you could do with a bit more live rock if possible, 11-12 kilos would be better.
Using salted RO is fine, I used it with my nano, but there are a couple of things to consider. What's the salinity of the water you're buying? If you want to keep corals, you'll need it around 1.025 - a ...

Re: Marine tank setup and cycling process
Good luck with your first reef tank, mate, it's a wild ride ahead. What's the tank size and how much live rock are you planning to use? Also, where are you sourcing the live rock from?

is there a substitute for wrasse as a cleaner fish?
I'm trying to find a solution to a bit of a dilemma I've got on my hands - my 7-year-old son has fallen head over heels for a cleaner wrasse at our local fish store. The thing is, this poor fish is darting around like it's disoriented in the centflake display tank, but my son thinks it's the most ...

Re: Frogspawn coral with large bubbles
I've got a torch with a similar issue, huge bubble next to one of the heads, been wondering what's going on with it.
