If you're into floating plants, frogbit or salvinia are safe. They dim the light a bit, which can help if your betta's stressed. Just don't let 'em cover the entire surface—leave some gaps for air.

I've found that adding floating plants like Red Root Floaters helps with algae control too. They soak up excess nutrients and give the tank a nice natural look.

I've been using Hygrophila Pinnatifida in my high-tech tank. It's got a unique leaf shape and doesn't grow too fast. My tank's running at 78°F with a Finnex Planted+ light, and it's been thriving.

It's not just the one polyp, I've got the two next to it showing some skeleton at the border to the dying one, which is concerning me.

I recently picked up a colony of bflintix9tomussa wellsi flintix9t on Saturday and things aren't going great. Got them home, dipped them in coralRx, and that's when I noticed one polyp had some tissue damage. Looked like the hard spike of the skeleton under it poked a hole in the tissue.
