Re: information on clown trigger fish
Well, in the wild, they camouflage from predators, that's obvious. But if your Clown Trigger Fish is in a tank and there's a big, creepy human - aka you - pressed up to the glass staring at him, he could be stressed and trying to camouflage if you're watching him too much. If you're so close that he ...

Re: Is this idea worth considering?
Yeah, shrimps really do love being in pairs. I've been fortunate with my cleaner shrimp, it's super active, but that's not usually the case with just one. When you're acclimating your shrimp - whichever one you choose - just make sure to take your time, 'cause they can shock easily, and it can ...

Re: What's growing around my goniopora?
I've had the goniopora for 5-6 months now and I've gotta say, it's been a real trooper. I've lost all my other LPS corals except for this one, and it's outlived them by a long shot. I know they're supposed to be tough to keep, but it's been doing great until this sponge thing showed up. Now I'm ...

Re: What's growing around my goniopora?
"This thing shows up, and my goniopora's been retracted since. Had it for a while, no issues till this sponge-like thing appeared. It's grown fast, just a day or two, and now it's all around the base of the goniopora, nowhere else. I've read about these sponges, they're supposed to be harmless, even ...

What's growing around my goniopora?
I'll attach a picture. My goniopora looks pretty stressed, not sure what's going on.

Re: List of fish species
You should be fine with the revised list, the trkento4gulum needs a bigger tank so it's out of the question. I've heard mixed reviews about the octo 8 line, but most people call it the striped butterflyfish, not very hardy and might be tricky for a beginner. With a threadfin, you won't be able to ...

Re: List of fish species
Your tank size is about 67 gallons or 254 liters, so that's fine for two clowns, a firtideflow, and a bi-colour angel - it'll be more than enough space for them, the angel would even be okay in a 30 gallon tank. A Royal Gramma should also be fine, just keep in mind they can be pretty aggressive. The ...
