Mine's positioned higher in the tank with less intense lighting and significantly reduced flow. I've noticed it does well with intermittent medium flow. The polyps barely move, which seems to be what they prefer. Here's a picture of it in the current, for comparison.


Noticed the blue rings only ...

Just got back from lunch and it's already looking better - those blue bands are completely gone, no signs of them anymore.

Thinking of swapping this with my frogspawn - it's probably not getting enough flow.

Just got this Alveopora a few days ago, it's been open non-stop and catching the current, wondering if these blue bands are a sign of tissue damage from too much flow?
